Ed Templeton has taken London by storm over the last few weeks.
His show 'Drinking the Kool-aid' that took place from 6th - 17th April at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms was a real success. Over 400 people turned up for the 'Evening with Ed Templeton' on Thursday 8th April and 150 people showed up for the book signing at the gallery on Saturday 10th April.
Ed: "During the signing this young woman asked me to draw on her arm and I obliged - but near the end of the short drawing Deanna asked her if she was planning on getting it tattoed... (Deanna sensed it...) She answered, "Yes." About a half-hour later she returned with the drawing inked in, flaws and all, including my signature! I don't know what kind of effect I have made on this girl's life that she would want to immortalize our meeting and my mark on her arm, but I can only hope I live up to the honor!

Ed, as ToyMachine's head honcho, also left us with some great limited edition collaboration product. The Emerica X ToyMachine x Slam City skateboards and t-shirts were available exclusively at Slam City Skates - www.slamcity.com.
There were only 140 boards (which have a number engraved in the topsheet) and 150 t-shirts available, so be sure to grab them quickly before they're gone!
Buy the limited edition t-shirt here, or the board can be bought here.
Emerica would like to thank everybody who was there and made Ed and Deanna feel very welcome in London."
