Tom Guilmard takes us through the progression from Document Snowboard Magazine Issue 58, where we now step up to the frontblunt Danish, so that's spinning off the rail 270 for those of you who were wondering

HOW TO DO IT

1
Approach the rail the same as if you were doing the front blunt to fakie

2
Keep your knees bent as you approach the kicker and keep your weight slightly on your toe edge to help direct you over the rail

3
As you leave the kicker (just like in the front blunt to fakie) you want to leap over aiming to land with the rail under your back foot

4
This time when you land on the rail, you want to try and keep the rotation going – which well help you complete the danish part of this trick – to do this keep your head turning the way you are spinning

5
Even though while you’re grinding the rail you need to keep your head turned (in prepartation for the spin off), you must not let your legs follow – as this would bring you into switch 5050 and not maintain the front blunt position

6
As you come to the end of the rail begin to let your legs and lower body follow the lead made by your shoulders and head – this will prepare you for the 270 out

7
When you pop off the end of the rail whip your legs around as fast as you can to complete the 270

8
In order to avoid over-rotating the landing, lock your head at the point 270 and keep looking in that direction (and the way you want to travel)

9
Ride away regular like it was nothing
