Big news this week has to be Project Friday kicking off tomorrow night at SNO!zone Scotland. In the mix, as you can see, is the mischevious SuperBowl feature that is sure to claim some teeth.
This is the official line:
"This month we've got a sweet park with quality features, big and small. The winners of our "Design a Feature" competition will be in full effect in our Winner's Bank, along with a Jumbo Picnic Bench made from butter box and both slide boxes (has to be seen to be believed), and to top it off the super-fun SuperBowl!
"We truly are "gettin' jibby with it", and you should too! There's a welcome return for our rider-friendly and rider-selected music policy (hopefully the soundsystem will be functioning correctly this time and we will have it up to 11 on the volume dial!) as well as all the usual games, giveaways and prizes.
"You can also hit the SuperBowl to win yourself a free Cup-a-soup! Keep the heavy stoke up all night and you could be in with a chance of winning the much coveted Cheddar Cheeze Steeze Prize and One Month Pass.
"Here's a direct quote from last month's winner: 'Winning was a truly unreal experience, probably the best of my life, I wept with joy and then the tears froze on my face, I didn't mind though because for the first time in my life I really felt complete! I have eight children, have climbed Everest twice and won three Nobel prizes. None of that even came close to how I feel right now. WWOOOWWOOOOOOO!!!!... BANG', that's true you know.
"We didn't end up having to give her a prize because she exploded and showered the whole place in stoke. It was everywhere. So anyway, that prize is obviously still up for grabs, come down, it'll be uber-gnar. See you there."

Things not looking so hot at Machester's Chillfactore where they're still in the midst of maintenance work:
Stephen Evans, Chief Executive at Chill Factore, has said, “As many of our regular guests will know, we have been carrying out maintenance work on and under the main slope for the past five weeks. This work has been carried out to accommodate a new tenant in the 25,000 sq ft unit underneath the slope, which is due to open in late 2010.
“Work on the slope itself is now complete, but building work is still ongoing in the area under the slope. We expect this work to be completed by mid-July.
“The disruption caused by this ongoing building work means that, unfortunately, we will be unable to put out a freestyle park until this maintenance is complete. This includes the regular Monday moguls sessions, the Grom Camp scheduled for 24 June and the Core airbag session on Friday 2 July. All those who have pre-booked places will be contacted and a full refund given.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. The completion of this work will see the return of freestyle nights to Chill Factore with an enhanced offering. There will be several brand new features, including an impressive new wall ride.”
