This year’s event looks to be bigger than ever before with over 35,000 visitors expected to attend and explore the 250 shops and stands and with over 30 tonnes of real snow (Saturday and Sunday), Earls Court will be truly turned into an early winter-wonderland.
The show features a host of activities that will entertain throughout the day; including the ice rink and curling lanes, 50ft hip-kicker, where you’ll be able to see some of the UK’s top talent in action, and live music until 10pm on Thursday and Friday from acts such as the team from the Folie Douce – for all those who enjoy their après ski.
With some of the best talent from the Ski and Snowboard world attending – including three-time X Games gold medallist and the UK’s top female snowboarder, Jenny Jones – this is your chance to meet the biggest winter-sports stars first hand.
You can also get involved and have a go at a range of activities; from snow tubing to the Aosta Valley rodeo. The K2 Highest Ollie Tournament will be returning for 2011 and will see visitors of all ages testing the limits of the latest K2 equipment as competitor’s battle for the highest Ollie. New for 2011, The Pierre & Vacances Petanque Piste will give people the perfect opportunity to try out the age old French summer favourite in a snowy setting.
The Ski and Snowboard show is the premier destination to check out all of the latest equipment from all the top brands; with a host of new exhibitors announced this year, you will be able to see all of the new ski trends as well as getting the latest travel ideas and tips for the upcoming holiday season. Plus over £50,000 worth of prizes to give away over the five days of the show, this event is one not to be missed.
With all this on offer and much, much, more, this year’s show truly is the place to kick-start your winter activities and make your next trip to the piste picture perfect.
