Consistent branding for the new Forum line up next winter

A quick look at what to expect from Forum, Foursquare and Special Blend next season

Pushing themselves properly down the freestyle route, Forum has taken out any freeride-erring boards from it’s previous ranges to concentrate on what it knows best.

New pro rider Andreas Wiig has had his fingers all over the Holy Moly and helped to develop it in a pro-model-that’s-not-really-a-pro-model way.

Also getting their fingers stuck in the base-profile-medling pie, Forum have created Combo Platter technology. This essentially lifts the effective edge off the snow a little, with the idea being to create a compromise between the looseness of a reverse camber board and the edge hold of traditional camber.

New graphics on the destroyer boards were a little disturbing and definitely drew our attention. Traditionally they’ve always been a little on the dark side, but the 2011 topsheet is something else. The skull graphics are photographs taken from genuine murder victims, with a little hint as to what the weapon of choice was on the base graphic. Which is nice.

For the bindings, again the Shakka is doing well and their flexible insert disk are looking big again.

There are a few exclusive rail shreds on the cards for next season, built to withstand anything and also featuring some attention-seeking graphics.
