Union give us a run down of the 'lightest binding in the market place'

Take a look at the creme de la creme of Union stock. It's not cheap at £359 but bears the tag of the lightest binding not only in their range but on the market.

The binding features a full carbon fibre highback – although the carbon fibre is utilised not for an ultra stiff binding but for weight reduction. The highback is symmetrical in shape but asymmetrical in flex.

The MC baseplate starts life the same as the Force baseplate but comes out of the mould and then gets machined for another 20 minutes to remove material, thereby reducing weight, without reducing strength.

The heelcup’s nano-tech coating over the Dupont Zytel ST plastic creates a heelcup with the strength of steel but half the weight of aluminium, check it out…
