Today we take a little look at the Asadachi binding from Union

If you watch the video you're gonna find all this out and more but in a snap shot...

According to our man, the Asadachi III binding comes from requests to have a woodgrain binding. It's a combination of the Force SL highback and the Force baseplate.

The highback is symetrical in shape but asymetrical in flex – so you don't have to rotate your highback to your outer edge. It features a quick adjust forward lean.

The heelcup is extruded aluminum and carries a lifetime warranty.

Dupont Nylon St baseplates are a super tough, high quality, branded plastic. On the Asadachi this is carbon injected to stiffen it up a touch, while keeping the weight down. Like most of their line the amount of carbon / fibreglass added is staggard to the different binding sizes to cater to the different sizes of riders.

EVA foam on the bottom of the baseplate protects your boards natural flex and reduces pressure on the topsheet.
