With the Centre Manager being UK Snowsports Instructor Nigel Treacy, the team are dedicated to deliver the highest standards of tuition. With a team of 30 instructors on the books we accommodate for individuals to all day group bookings.

What’s the local scene?

With a beautiful seafront setting, Llandudno is no ordinary location. Combined with breathtaking National Park surroundings you could be forgiven for thinking you weren’t in the UK! The town centre is only five minutes walk from the slope and offers numerous restaurants, bars and clubs.

Why should people come to your slope?

Situated 415ft above sea level and boasting a 200m PermaSnow slope, Llandudno Ski and Snowboard Centre offers guaranteed ski and snowboard conditions with enviable scenic views. Offering one-and-half hour lift passes for just £13 for adults and £10 for juniors (£4 hire charge for snowboarders), expert advice and tuition from 10am – 10pm and a fully licensed Alpine Lodge Bar and Restaurant.

What’s been the most impressive trick at your slope?

After much debate it has been decided that a Frontside 700 has been the most impressive trick witnessed.

Any big events coming up at the slope?

Freestyle Fridays – get hands on and set your own park layout, with numerous moveable ramps, rails and kickers.

How often do you and the team get to the mountains?

Every year our instructors venture to the mountains, and due to our affiliation with Monterosa Holidays you can often find them on the Swiss / Italian border of the Alps.

Give us a brief history of the slope?

John Nike Leisuresport - Llandudno Ski and Snowboard Centre has been established for over 20 years and since 2004 has been a PermaSnow slope, allowing for outstanding and safe conditions whatever your ability or experience. The John Nike Leisuresport Group has centres across the country in Bracknell, Bristol, Chatham, Plymouth and Swadlincote.
