As you can see your landing from the halfway point, and you land in your regular stance, it is actually a less technical trick than the backside 180, but it still feels wicked!

1
Approach the kicker as straight as you can, slightly off centre if you feel the need but, don’t carve your way in
2
As you head up the transition of the kicker have your arms out to keep your balance and just before you reach the lip of the kicker aim to start turning your shoulders to about 20-30 degrees
3
Time it so that, as you leave the lip, you turn your head away and have turned your shoulders the same, and pop off your toe edge
4
As you rise up into the air you’ll be blind to the landing but don’t panic; bring your knees up and go for your grab. Just try not too rush as it’ll look bad and will also cause balance problems

5
At about 90 degrees you should have your grab and this should carry you up to the apex of your jump where you should be at 180. Get it right to this point and it’ll be plain sailing from here on
6
Look round a bit and you’ll see your landing. Hold on to your grab and the momentum you have already created will spin you round the next bit
7
As you start to descend, let go and spot your landing. Keep your shoulders moving though as it’s easy to open up too early land heavy on your heel edge

8
You should land with your centre of gravity nicely over your toe edge and back in the position that you, more or less, left the kicker in

9
One you’ve got this one landed once, you’ll have it in the bag for sure. If you find yourself struggling a bit, try a mute grab instead and I bet it’ll make a whole lot of difference
