Where is the course run?

Courses are run at Whistler Blackcomb and Big White, both are located in British Columbia, Canada.

 

How long has it been running?

This is our first season.

 

What is the structure and content of the course like?

Intensive, all of our courses include tuition Monday through to Friday. From the moment you arrive tuition begins. 

 

Who are the teachers and what’s so great about them?

The teachers are a selection of level 4 and level 3 ski and snowboard instructors from within the resort's ski and board school. Working with two amazing resorts means the instructors we have access to are of exceptional quality. All are of a level 4 and level 3 standard. 

 

Are there exams? 

All of our courses include exams. They are all set in a relaxed environment and are based on continuous assessment. 

 

What is the social time like? Do the students hang out together?

All of our accommodation is located together with planned social nights out and group meals.

What is the accommodation like?

All accommodation is ideally located and beautiful throughout. Rooms are based on two people sharing a twin room. Those taking part in a course at Big White benefit from a private hot tub throughout the duration of their stay. 

 

What do people need to bring on the course?

All students need to bring ski or snowboard equipment. With our unique crossover training course we include the hire of either skis and boots or snowboard and boots. Students only need to supply equipment for one sport when selecting this course.  

 

What do your alumni end up doing?

At this stage we hope they pursue a career in snow sports and contribute as much as possible to the industry.
