It's a bit skeeky. OK, it's totally skeeky but it is interesting to other ski geeky types.
Enthusiastic race manufacturer Head has launched its new race technology, KERS, for all its performance skis this season. It's got a useful window to display them at Vancouver, what with Lindsay Von and Bode Miller waving Head products around but no, only the ski wraps have the KERS logo - the skis themselves don't have the branding.
My guess that it's because race skis take a couple of years of waxing and skiing before they become race ready. KERS would have been known about back then, but not released. So therefore no KERS skis at the 2010 Olympics.
And Bode just won the Combined as I was writing this... Another missed opportunity!!
