Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I last spoke to you.
February and the start of March have been a busy time for me in my position as head judge and coach for The North Face Ski Challenge.
After our first event in Flachauwinkl, Austria we passed through Hemsedal in Norway, Are in Sweden, Chamonix in France and Alagna in Italy before arriving here in Val Thorens, France for the final.
This weekend brings 70 riders from 14 countries to the final with one winner taking away the grand prize of a two-year sponsorship deal from The North Face and Atomic.

After the weekend it’s time to chill out and enjoy some end of season conditions, it’s one of my favourite times of the year when although the skiing day is not as long there are still plenty of good turns to be found along with those longer days providing plenty of sunshine for après ski on the sun terrace. Perfect.
The last week in January signalled the time to start my job
