...the snow fairies have brought us masses of snow; 42 cms has fallen in the last 48hours and more is in on its way.

Yesterday was awesome, I spent the morning building a powder kicker and then found some new tree runs in the afternoon.

Both Whistler and Blackcomb have tree runs that really are worth a mention, about 90% of the mountains are within the tree line and you really can drop into pretty much all of them without having to worry about where they might lead or what hidden features may be ahead.

The Paralympics have begun and I’m hoping to go and watch a couple of events. The Olympics have been great and an experience I definitley won’t be forgetting, I still cant believe how much the girls stepped it up in the halfpipe; very impressive!

Hopefully the snow will continue through the week, this season really has been something else and I’m loving it.
