With 960cm cumulative snowfall we really have seen a lot of snow. This week has seen conditions and avalanche risks stabilise allowing the whole terrain to open and riders to access some unbelievable runs.
Rocks, boulders and lakes that were visible last year have completely disappeared and cliffs and lines that were stories are becoming reality as the snow level continues to build. There have already been a lot of pro riders up here filming their video sections and hitting features that in previous years were unaccesable.

Whistler is a costal resort so conditions can be unpredictable at times, we saw a lot of rainfall last week which washed away some of the lower snow, but the sea brings us a lot of snowfall when the temperatures are low so if you can time it well Whistler really can deliver. The two mountains (Blackcomb and Whistler) have completely different aspects and terrain, so if conditions aren’t ideal on one mountain just head to the other.
The big secret to Whistler, which I’m only sharing with Document, is that most people only stick to the pistes here so if you know where you're going, or have a good guide, you can guarantee yourself some fresh lines even at the end of the day.
