...and was stopped by security for trying to walk out with Bode Miller's leg.

The leg in question is the race department last so Mr Miller has a nice snug fit for his boots.

Matt Humphreys, Wintersport Manager for Head, decided that the last would make a fine addition to his collection of race memorabilia. The opportunity to poke around in the new Race Department in Kennelbach, Austria, provoked the attempted de-limbing. It seems security within the Race Department remains as tight as ever, and Humphreys was relived of 'his' foot in short order. "I was just seeing what it would look like in natural light," was his excuse, not realising that the Kennelbach security team were ex department store detectives.

On the new setup itself: "It's very smart", commented Humphreys. Showing a remarkable lack of high-end security awareness, he also let slip; "We should win everything next year, if what I've seen works like they say it does."
